Gracious and comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere, The Black Friar is a bed and breakfast as well as a full service pub restaurant located in the heart of Bar Harbor. Quiet downtown location, full breakfast, and English pub serving dinner nightly. Six spacious rooms with private baths, AC, heat, and WiFi. Some rooms come with fireplaces, private porch, or a turret room. Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX accepted. The fun begins at The Friar. Open mid-April through October. Rates: high season $160-205; off season $130-150.
