YWCA MDI and MDI Hospital present a book talk with Dr. Angela Marshall author of Dismissed: Tackling the Biases That Undermine Our Healthcare Many kind of bias can affect the healthcare we receive. At this free community event, Dr. Angela Marshall will discuss ways we can tackle biases in our healthcare system to empower patients and providers alike. Join us for an author reception at 6 PM followed by a presentation and Q&A at 6:30. This event will take place in person at Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor and will also be available on Zoom.
